Dr. Mary E. Keown is a Board-certified Pediatrician with Pediatric Associates of Davidson County since August 1986. Dr. Keown did her undergraduate studies at Samford University , in Birmingham, AL. She graduated from University of Alabama of Birmingham School of Medicine , followed by internship and residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University . Dr. Keown served as Chief Resident of Nashville General Hospital before joining Pediatric Associates.

Dr. Keown is an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Pediatrics at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine, and a Medical Staff member of St Thomas MidTown and Centennial Medical Center. She is also Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified.

Dr. Keown has served as Vice-Chair of Pediatrics, Centennial Medical Center ; a member of the Board of Directors, Nashville Academy of Medicine ; President of the Davidson County Pediatric Association, Board Member of the Tennessee Pediatric Society, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics . She served as Chief of Pediatrics at Centennial Medical Center for 3 years and is currently Vice-Chief.

Dr. Keown received the James C. Overall Award for Teaching from Vanderbilt University and is a member of Who's Who Best Medical Doctors in America.

Dr. Keown's favorite pastime is golf and is a great Auburn Tigers and Tennessee Titans fan. Dr. Keown is active in her church serving as an elder.

Dr. Keown has been voted one of Nashville's Top Physicians in the "Toast of Music City" Awards for multiple years.

Dr. William R. Davidson is a Board-Certified pediatrician with Pediatric Associates of Davidson County since July 1992. He graduated from the University of TN at Memphis School of Medicine followed by a residency in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Louisville School of Medicine .

Dr. Davidson is a Clinical Instructor with Monroe Carrell Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics; Medical Staff member at St Thomas MidTown and Centennial Medical Center Women's and Children's Hospitals. He is also Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified.

Dr. Davidson has served as Chief of Pediatrics and Vice-Chief of Pediatrics at St Thomas MidTown. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics .

Dr. Davidson is married and has three children. He is active in his church, having served as a deacon. He has been on nine mission trips including 7 to Honduras, one to Kenya and one to Southern California. He is currently serving as an Adult Sunday School Teacher and in Children's Worship Services.

Dr. Davidson's hobbies include the University of Tennessee VOLS, Titans football, and Photography.

Dr. Lori L. Amis is a Board-Certified pediatrician with Pediatric Associates of Davidson County since July 1996. She received her Bachelor of Sciences, Psychology from Auburn University , and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine . Her internship and residency programs were at the University of Louisville at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Dr. Amis plays Volleyball and is an avid Auburn Tigers fan and the #1 fan of whatever sport or activity her kids are doing at the moment.

Pediatrician David A. Wyckoff, M.D., F.A.A.P., joined the staff of Pediatric Associates in August 2007. Dr. Wyckoff is a native of Nashville and a 1992 graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy . He received a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Princeton University in 1996 and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2000.

Dr. Wyckoff completed seven years of active duty service as a pediatrician in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps as a lieutenant commander. He finished his residency in pediatrics in 2003 at Naval Medical Center San Diego and became a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics later that year. From 2003 to 2007, he spent four years as a staff pediatrician at the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital in Twentynine Palms, California, taking care of the children of active duty Marines, acting as a consultant on patients for the Family Medicine Department, and training staff in pediatric and neonatal life support. In 2007 he moved back to Nashville and joined Pediatric Associates of Davidson County.

Dr. Wyckoff is a Clinical Instructor with Monroe Carrell Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics; Medical Staff member at St Thomas MidTown and Centennial Medical Center. He is also Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics .

Dr. Wyckoff is married and has two sons. His hobbies include baseball, running, and music. He currently sings baritone in the Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir.

Dr. Laurie V. Alsentzer is a Board-certified Pediatrician joining Pediatric Associates of Davidson County in November 2021. Dr. Alsentzer did her undergraduate studies at Vanderibilt University, and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did her pediatric residency at University of Pennsylvania’s Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Following her residency she worked as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for several years before joining a private pediatric practice in Nashville.

Dr. Alsentzer is a Clinical Instructor with Monroe Carrell Children’s Hospital, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, and Medical Staff member at St. Thomas Midtown and Centennial Medical Center Women’s and Children’s Hospitals.

Dr. Alsentzer is married and has three children. She and her husband can be found at most Vanderbilt baseball, basketball and football games, as well as as cheering on the Predators and Nashville Soccer team. In her spare time she likes to garden, fly fish, read and play Beat Saber on the Oculus Quest.

Darren received his Bachelor of Science from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1998, and BS from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1991. He was Board Certified Physician Assistant in 1998 and Board Certified Athletic Trainer in 1991.

Darren is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and The National Athletic Trainers Association.

Darren is married and has two children. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and is an avid Titans fan.
