Dosage Chart
For children ages 2 months and less, parents must call physician.
Please be aware that there are an increasing number of acetaminophen and ibuprofen products available and some of the newer products have a different strength for their infant drops and childrens' suspension. The doses provided below are based only on the strength that is shown (eg: Acetaminophen infant drops w/ concentration of 80 mg/0.8 ml). Please be sure to double check the strength of the product that you have to be sure you are giving an accurate dose of medication to your child.
*Be sure to use the dropper or dosing cup provided to ensure that your child receives the proper dose. The infant drops are stronger than the children's suspension and need to be dosed with the dropper to be sure not to give an overdose.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol ) - Given every 4-6 hours

Over 90lb you can give 1 adult exra strength acetaminophen
